BEANY FAQS

Frequently asked questions

Don’t see your answer? Reach out to us, we’d love to help!
Book a phone call with us so we can learn about your business and accounting requirements. Think of it as a free chat to establish whether we're a good fit for each other.Following the phone call, we'll send you a quote for the services that were discussed and let you know the next steps for coming on board as a client.
By law, we can only work as your accountant once all the necessary HMRC authorities and AML (anti-money laundering) checks have been completed, including any third parties that we require checks for. We also have a few internal processes (such as ethical clearance from your past accountant) that need to be completed before we can start working with you.Once onboarding is finalised, we email you an introduction and calendar link to book in your new client meeting with your accountant.
Unlimited support means we will provide help or guidance on any quick day-to-day accounting query without charging anything extra. This includes questions ranging from tax deadlines to coding and payroll queries. Our client support team of experienced bookkeepers and payroll experts are the first point of contact for these sorts of questions. If you ask anything too complex, they'll pass it onto your accountant to answer. You can email and call our support team as often as you like. We always aim to respond within 24 hours (typically averaging 4-6 hours), although at peak times of year it may be longer. If you require a custom bit of work, such as preparing a cash flow summary for the bank, or working through a specific tax issue, we'll let you know any extra cost before we start.
Beany's packages operate as a yearly plan divided into 12 monthly installments. This approach gives businesses certainty over their yearly accounting costs and helps smooth cashflow, rather than receiving a large annual bill at the end of each year.Since the cost is split over a year, Beany has a 12-month commitment for all accounting packages.
If you become a client and your circumstances change, our support team can look at where you're up to in your 12-payment cycle and let you know how many payments are remaining. We do a reconciliation of work and fees as part of this process.
