When you take up the title of 'business owner', you agree to a set of financial and legal obligations.​ We’re here to make them a breeze. So in addition to helping you prepare and stay compliant as your accountants, we’ve built a checklist to ensure your business is set up correctly.​

Use this meeting link to schedule a phone call with us so we can learn about your business and accounting requirements. Think of it as a free chat to establish whether we're a good fit for each other.During the phone call we will recommend the services that match your needs and will let you know the next steps for coming on board as a client.
We can only work as your accountant once all the necessary IRD authorities and AML (anti-money laundering) checks have been completed. If there are any third parties that we require checks for, we'll need these completed as well.Once onboarding is complete, you'll receive an email inviting you to book a new client meeting with your accountant.
Our accounting packages include unlimited support, meaning you can call and email our Client Support team as often as you like. We handle various questions from Xero coding, to tax deadlines and payroll queries.We have a 24-hour target response time (typically averages 4-6 hours), although during peak accounting times it may take a little longer.Our Support desk is staffed by experienced bookkeepers who can respond quickly and accurately.If you require something not covered by the package such as preparing a cash flow summary for the bank, or working through a specific tax issue, we'll let you know any extra cost before we start.
Beany has a 12-month commitment for our accounting packages. This is because the monthly fee is the annual cost for 1 set of accounts (financial statements and income tax return) divided into 12 payments.This approach ensures predictable compliance costs and helps manage your business's cash flow, rather than a large annual bill.
If you sign up and your circumstances change, the Beany support team can look at where you're up to in your 12 payment cycle and let you know if you have any payments remaining. We do a reconciliation of work and fees as part of this process.
